Six Spanish races could become Listed races in 2013

The IFHA has promoted six Spanish races to the Listed status in its Conference held October 8th. The Closing remarks document states:

"Six races from Spain were promoted to Part II subject to review of their 2012 ratings. "

The six races are:

GP Claudio Carudel (spring season, La Zarzuela, Madrid), a 1,600 m race for 3yo+, weight for age The winner this year was Matusalén
Other recent winners were Volcánico, Silverside, Lorgan, Yepes, Trueno Negro

GP Ciudad de Madrid (spring season, La Zarzuela, Madrid), a 2,500 m race for 3yo+, weight for age
Last edition: GP Ciudad de Madrid 2011
Recent winners: Karluv Most (2012), Entre Copas (2011), Karluv Most (2010), Bannaby (2009)


GP Gobierno Vasco (summer season, Lasarte, San Sebastián), 1,600 m, 3yo+ weight for age. The winner this year was Cielo Canarias and other recent winners were Volcánico, Aranel

Copa de Oro de San Sebastián (summer season, Lasarte, San Sebastián), 2,400 m, 3yo+, weight for age. Last edition (the winner was Pazifiksturm): Copa de Oro de San Sebastián 2011
Other recent winners were: Jo All the Way (2011), Bannaby (2010), Young Tiger

GP Hispanidad (autumn season, La Zarzuela, Madrid), 1,600 m, 3yo+, weight for age. Last edition (Abdel won): GP Hispanidad 2011
Other recent winners have been Silverside, Shumookh, Solita, Trip to the Moon and Young Tiger

GP Memorial Duque de Toledo (autumn season, La Zarzuela, Madrid), 2,400 m, 3yo+, weight for age. Last edition (Ayanz): GP Memorial Duque de Toledo 2011
Amont the previous winners are Karluv Most, Young Tiger, Jade, Blue Ridge View


The final decision will be made next January.
